At Maplewood AFC, we provide the highest quality care for your loved ones. Our staff is trained to meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Our spacious and comfortable accommodations provide a home-like atmosphere for our residents. Each private bedroom is fully furnished and equipped with amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Residents and their families are encouraged to personalize the residents’ personal space.

A weekly Music Therapy class is available for those interested. The class, including singing, trivia, current events and jokes, is designed to stimulate the thinking process.  

Other activities offered include bingo, puzzles, cards, walks, and a weekly church service.

We understand the importance of a nutritious diet for our residents. That's why we provide a variety of delicious and health-conscious meals and snacks, prepared on site by our staff. We do our best to make accommodations for special diets and offer comfort foods.

At Maplewood AFC, we understand that the needs of each residents can vary considerably. Upon admission, we work with you to  establish an assessment plan to meet the needs of the resident while establishing goals to delay deterioration.

We offer assistance with activities of daily living, Including, bathing and grooming, incontinence care to those with special needs, medication management, as well as laundry and housekeeping services for all. Personal care is always performed with dignity and respect

Maplewood AFC is designed to accommodate Alzheimer, dementia and elderly residents with

alarms on exit doors, to alert staff when someone enters or leaves the home. Door

chimes are also on each resident bedroom door to alert the staff of resident movement.

Each bedroom has the resident's name on the door to help them to  identify which room is theirs and help avoid confusion.

Caring for an elderly person can be  challenging. Maplewood AFC  provides a respite care program  for caregivers that need to get away, unwind, and refresh. Your loved one will experience care in a safe and secure community environment while  receiving the needed medical care, engagement, and social stimulation  they require.

If a  resident reaches a stage where medicine no longer helps, the level of care increases and care from a skilled nursing facility or nursing  home cannot make things better, they do not have to worry about leaving  the facility that has been their home.  Maplewood AFC will allow Hospice  to come in and give the proper level of care needed to keep resident comfortable while still residing in the facility.
